It is things like this little girl presenting scripture that brings peace and joy to my heart. I cannot always grasp peace and joy in my own little head, but as I look around me, as I see God alive and active, as God breaks through my walls of worry and fear, HE brings about HIS glorious peace and joy. My 2 year old Charlie has an infected toe. I was soaking the toe in hot, salt water, and then I was trying to clean it out. I told him to close his eyes. He closed his eyes tight and let me minister to his painful toe. Five seconds after I had stopped with his toe, I looked down to kiss his face, and his eyes were still squinted shut. I just smiled and hugged him and thanked God for moments such as these! God is alive and active, and I pray we each would have eyes to see and ears to hear!
