Today I'm thankful for:
1) My husband, since he's the one who got me started blogging by starting HIS blog at Pastor Dave Lets His Hair Down. I only wish he had time to blog more!
2) The internet--I'm so glad Al invented it! Sorry, that's an old joke, but I couldn't resist! I've met some wonderful bloggers and chatted with some very creative authors via the net. And it gave me a chance to meet and to pray for Kelli and Heather.
3) Email--I absolutely adore email! Since a big part of my job is talking on the phone, I don't really care much for the phone...but email...sign me up and send me some! I love checking my mail and seeing someone has left a comment on my blog.
4) My blogs--I don't know which one I love more...this one, for my devotional thoughts, my fun blog, where I get to just be silly, or my book review blog.
5) MySpace--yes, you read that right! Before you throw stones, MySpace reconnected my husband with my step-children (that is still a work in progress, so we'd appreciate your prayers), and also reconnected us with friends from church I haven't seen in almost 20 years. Any tool is a good tool if it's used responsibly.
6) Author websites--I can explore, email, sign up for newsletters, and find out about new releases coming, enter contests, and discover just how fascinating my favorite authors really are!
So, there you have my Cyber Six-Pack! What are you thankful for today? To read more thankful posts, click on the picture at the top of my post and go visit Iris!
Be blessed today, and be thankful!
Deena

I really enjoyed your thankful list, bless you sweet one.
Where would we be without cyber-space communication? What would we do without email...and blogging?? Ha! At this point it would probably be like living as the cavemen!! As for MySpace...ugh. But I've recently met 2 people who came to know Jesus through MySpace. Guess God can use anything to bring people to Him! Thanks for sharing! Blessings on your weekend.
I agree I love all the blog and Internet interaction Web 2.0 is a real blessing to Christians --a great fellowship group encouraging one another, bearing one another's burdens, praying for one another, and more.
Blessings,
Robin
What a great list of things to be thankful for.
Blessings to you today too.
HI Deena. Thanks for visiting me!
I love email too!!!!
My said you two year old likes to put erasers up his nose? As gross as it is - mine likes to put food up hers....yuck!
I could second almost all of your list... and I just want to add, your words BLESS ME!
I adore author web site, you feel connected to them.
Thank you for a wonderful list.
Have a wonderful blessed day.
Thank you for dropping by my blog and for such a sweet comment! I agree about the MySpace. It can be a good thing when used right. I have one and use it to keep in touch with friends from school and work. (www.myspace.com/southernfriedmom)
I love email too! You made a great list today!
God Bless~

I don't like the phone much myself. I'd much rather communicate via internet. It gives us that extra moment to think before we type. ;-)
Yes, our doggie was just being a dog when she killed the poor little squirrel and tried to kill a baby snake a few minutes ago. But my hubby got to it first. I think it must have heard the baby wrens as it was headed in that direction. Whew!
I love checking my email too.
Glad things are getting better between your hubby and his kids.
My sister has a my space--have learned to much about it yet.
I'm with you, don't like the phone. But send me an email and I am all over it! I'm so thankful for the internet and blogging, because that is where I met you, my sista! Thank you for your prayers today!
Thanks for your comment Deena. I enjoyed reading your list. I know what you mean. However, I have a sort of love/hate relationship with my computer. When all goes well I love it; when those scary litle boxes pop up or it doesn't do what it supposed to do well then I have to fight the urge to hurl it out the window.
All in all thought - it sure is a blessing.
What a great list for Thankful Thursday! I know what you mean about My Space...I have found several old school friends that way.
Praying for your family.
I will be praying for the children and your husband. That is awesome. My son had me start a MySpace but I have never done anything with it but rate my old college professors (I was too nice I think - ha!).
Hugs to you!
Oh I love your list. I came in from appointments all day and your list made me smile. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend.
In his endless love,
Angel ( Angel Mama)
Thank you for visiting with me on my blog site, I agree the internet is just super duper wonderful. love always me
Great list! Ahh, yes, email, internet and blogs - it's crazy how things change in such short time. I am sure my son won't even think blogs are cool when he gets bigger!
Great siX pack! ThanX so much for the visit and gracious comment.
PS: It was pizza first, then dark chocolate!
I'm going to check out Pastor Dave later today. :)
I am so thankful for email! For introverts like me it is truly a blessing. I start to break out in a sweat when someone says "Call me!" I now say, "You mean on the phone?" lol
Praying for a bigger connection with your husband and his kids.
Blessings~
Deena, I have to agree - the blogging has changed a lot for me too. I love email too, but no spam :)
I have to agree, if we use resources responsible, it is a good thing.
Thank you for sharing your grateful heart with us with past week.
Be blessed today and always.
